This vers from the Quran gets me everytime !
Abu Hurayrah reports that the prophet peace be upon him said, : “O People! Remember much the destroyer of pleasures, death.” (Tirmidhi, Nasaa’i, Ibn Maajah). Death is from amongst the most definite things that we are to experience and no person will avoid it. Indeed, Death is the only thing that is guaranteed in life.
Allah says, “Everyone shall taste death. And only on Yawmul Qiyaamah (the Day of Resurrection) shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he is indeed successful. The life of this world is only enjoyment of deception.” (Quran - 3:185).
Hopefully we will remember death very often in order to remind our selves to stay away from sins.
